Packing the latest Walkman gadgetry, including gimmicky Shake Control, the W705 is also boxed with a 4GB Memory Stick Micro card and better than average in-ear earphones. 3G HSPA provides high-speed mobile online connectivity, for fast uploading as well as downloading where networks are enabled, while there's a video call camera upfront, plus a 3.2-megapixel camera with flash.
Services you prefer. While video shooting quality is run-of-the-mill QVGA at 15fps, you can show off your clips via YouTube using a pre-loaded app. You can also browse the site, view content and manage your online account from the phone. Shots can be geo-tagged with metadata so you can record where images were taken. Unfortunately there's no GPS receiver on this device, so positional info is approximate using cell-site triangulation. You can view the rough position where shots were taken on the phone's Google Maps application, which can deliver updated maps and satellite views over the air. Location data can also be viewed on other suitable applications online or on a PC. Sony Ericsson W595 is responsive and reliable.
Music player: This Walkman phone leaves main music player control duties to the navigation pad - although there's also a tiny Walkman key on the top of the phone, for activating the player and initiating its Shake Control operation. This motion-operated gadgetry utilizes the built in accelerometer that also auto-rotates the display in certain functions. Holding the Walkman button down in music player mode and shaking the phone in certain ways can forward or rewind tracks, adjust volume and switch into shuffle mode. The music player performs up to the high standard we've come to expect of the Walkman collection, the packaged high-grade in-ear earphones producing a lovely responsive sound with plenty of depth. That there's no 3.5mm headphone socket on specialist music mobile is a regular source of irritation when we're looking at Walkman phones, particularly when the alternative is a lumpy proprietary multi-connector awkwardly positioned on the side. Sony Ericsson W995 at least includes a 3.5mm adaptor on the two-part headset lead, so you can plug in your own higher quality ear-wear to further boost performance. Stereo Bluetooth wireless headphones are also supported. Through the loudspeaker, tunes sound OK but not exceptionally good.

Jan 31, 2010 – HTC P3407 is still swinging; the latest to come out is the HTC P3470. It's a loutish-end Windows Mobile 6 Pro device: Think HTC Touch minus Touch-FLO and Wi-Fi, but you can add in GPS. The P3470 comes pre-equipped with Tom for navigation and has the HTC Home Screen we've all come to know and love. It's “lowest-end” because it's EDGE only, folks, no 3G or Wi-Fi. One nice bit, it looks like that 5-way pad might double as a scroll wheel. That said, it's awfully tiny (see the specs below) and clocks in at 449 Euro before subsidies. Note the “Euro” in that price, there, looks like this thing will be launching on Orange first. We might see it here in the states someday, though, as it is Quad-Band. A, For more features and more compatible you should download the latest firmware and copy all files of firmware to your TF card.
Q, Why can't create save file?
A, There are two possibility. 1, There is no enough space in TF card to create a save file. 2, If you format your TF card with FAT16 then you can only put 512 files in one folder.
Q, Why my save file is corrupted?
A, There are two possibility. 1, Your save file is damaged for some reason. 2, You're using a special format of save file from other flash cart and you need to convert it first.
Q, Why can not create system files?
A, You should keep 4MB space in TF card for system files. We suggest you launch R4 sdhc on machine first after you format the TF card and copy the firmware to make sure the system files is created correctly.

The Mayans Had Developed Three Calendar Systems

Jan 16, 2010 – The Mayans during their classical period between the 250 AD and 900 AD rose to great heights of civilization. They were skilled farmers and hunters along with great mathematicians, storytellers, astronomers, artists, linguists and architects.
Most of these skills are still far better progressed compared to our own especially their calendar systems, hieroglyphic writing and their astronomical knowledge.
The Mayans had developed three calendar systems. The two more commonly used were cyclic calendars like our own Georgian calendar the third however was a continuous (linear) calendar that started from a mythical date of creation of the world in 1 Baktun and ends on the 13 Baktun.
This third calendar called the Mayan Long Count Calendar is the point of much debate among the classic and contemporary Mayan experts. Some suggest this is just a point of regeneration and others claim it is the sign of an apocalypse.
There are a number of experts both classic and contemporary that fall on each side of the argument. The problem is the language barrier, as the hieroglyphic writing or at least our knowledge of it lends a mythological quality to the writing itself opening it up to many interpretations and contradictions.
The Mayan Long Count Calendar however with its interlocking Solar and Lunar cycles is not disputed as it afforded the Mayans and unusual sight into the astronomical future of our Solar System.
The ideas that they were able to not only predict the Winter Solstice of 2012 with uncanny ability but the equinox that will see the alignment of Earth with the black hole is astonishing to say the least.
We have only in the recent years discovered there is a black hole. If we read through the Mayan accounts of what will happen during this end of the world age, we find that they reference a demon of the underworld unleashed upon Earth by a serpent (shaped like our galaxy) that causes destruction through water and floods.
The Mayans refer to this date of December 2012 as the days of the withered fruit and the tempest.
With all the Mayan prophecies that have come true, their astronomical knowledge that eludes us to date along with the deteriorating state of our societies and the rising water levels it is not wrong to think that there is some truth to the Mayan prophecy of doom for 21 December 2012.

• Jupiter and Saturn are showing increased activity on their surfaces due to the increased energy released towards them by the Sun. Drastic changes in Jupiter’s climatic makeup and an increase in storms has been recorded.
• Neptune’s biggest moon Triton has also had a rapid increase in its core temperature in the last decade.

Connecticut Better Business Bureau issues alert about internet distribution company

Jan 05, 2010 – Connecticut Better Business Bureau is cautioning consumers about unscrupulous tactics used by Internet distribution company Peel Incorporated, because of more than 1,360 complaints to Better Business Bureau in the past year from consumers in 49 states.
The company, which sells a variety of products from coffee to posters under multiple names and Web site addresses, has more than 890 pending complaints. These have earned the company an F rating from BBB. At least 33 complaints were filed by consumers in Connecticut.
Unhappy consumers allege undisclosed or unauthorized credit card charges, lack of clearly disclosed shipping and/or membership fees, and deceptive advertising. Complaints detail receiving multiple, unordered and/or unauthorized merchandise shipments and charges and subsequent difficulties obtaining refunds.
One complaint, filed by a Southington woman, describes a familiar pattern of problems with Peel Inc.
“I purchased posters from this site which offered four posters, each for four dollars. Since, I have received four separate shipments in the past few days for $39.80, totaling $159.20, which led to overdraft charges totaling $140.00 in my checking account.”
Even after the woman called the company to cancel the charges, she subsequently received two more orders for which she was billed an additional $79.60. What was supposed to be a $16 charge for posters “…has turned into $378.80, all within days of receiving the first shipment.”
According to Connecticut Better Business Bureau President, Paulette Scarpetti, “Aside from the thousands of complaints filed to Better Business Bureau from across the country, the Chicago and Northern Illinois BBB where the company is based, cautions that Peel Inc. is resolving complaints, however there continues to be an ongoing pattern of unhappiness with its business practices.”
Complaints filed with Better Business Bureau show common elements: Consumers signing up for a product and getting hit with unwanted, repeat deliveries, unauthorized credit card charges and difficulty getting a refund.
The company uses almost identical wording in settling its complaints filed with Better Business Bureau:
“…Given (consumers’) dissatisfaction with our service, we have completed the following steps. First, their account has been closed and they will not receive any further orders. Second, we have refunded all past orders in an effort to satisfy this customer and make up for any inconveniences they may have had. The refund will appear within 72 hours on their credit card statement.”
BBB offers the following advice to shoppers on how to help prevent billing issues and other unexpected surprises when shopping online and in a store:
